At the weekend I went along to Hammonds Photography Studio in Chelmsford for a fab photo shoot for some new pieces I've been working on and today I wanted to give you a sneak peek! I've been working on some new Harris Tweed and Knitted Button Brooches embellished with upcycled fabrics and I'm so pleased with the photos! I'm about to start adding them to my Etsy and Folksy shops and I'll be sure to let you know when the shops are restocked with these new Autumnal toned pieces- they make lovely stocking fillers or a treat for yourself to brighten up your jacket on blustery days.

Photo Shoot part 1!
Here are a few of my favourite images from today's photo shoot at Hammonds Photography Studio! Thank you to Emma for the great shoot!
I wanted to have some promo images for recent work including my Aztec inspired brooches and hand knitted Fair Isle brooches and I'm really pleased with these!
Over the coming weeks I'll be busy further developing the Shetland wool Fair Isle work (see brooches below) into a mini collection for the Etsy shop and getting ready for photo shoot part 2! I'll be sure to keep you posted. Hope you've had a great Sunday!

New rings available in my Etsy shop!
A little look behind the scenes at my D.I.Y Photo shoot for some new knitted rings, embellished with recycled fabrics. Thanks to my sister for being a great hand model!
I have just listed them in my Etsy shop- they would make a lovely Valentines gift, or indeed a quirky unique treat for yourself. Check them out here!

Latest work
Just a little update- thank you everyone who has liked my Facebook page so far. On Tuesday I drew a name at random to win one of my handmade necklaces- please like my page for more competitions and offers coming soon!
The new collection is gradually coming together and I'm hoping to have another photo shoot soon and then an update of my online shop. Tomorrow I'm going to start work on the knitted brooches and I'm hoping it's going to be another lovely sunny day- sun shining into the studio always helps me work!

New coloured Tweed brooches in progress!
I'm also hoping to get the chance tomorrow to have a bit of an experiment with some old papers (more on those soon) and varnish, with the hope that I can incorporate the results into some future work
